You know I would say the same thing when both of my twin would have one at the same time. It isnt the infection that is contagious it is the bacteria that makes the kids sick and it happend to settle in the ears for both of them. At least that is the schpeal their PED told me lol. I still dont buy it lmao!

I waited so I could be as far away as possible ! Same infection and mostly they are just guessing. You have my blessing 2 kids with ear infections as well as yourself sounds like no fun . Send the hubby out for a lot of soup ! Have any of you had your tonsils out ? It helped me and my son we both had repeated ear infections as children.

While I realize that this is no place for factual information, there has been some conjecture in recent years that the bacteria that causes otitis media is actually *airborne*.
In conclusion, I think it may in fact be possible to catch it from someone.

has to do with genes, could be that your parents had a gene that causes ear infections, they passed it on to you then you passed it on to your kids, its called a dominant allele or a recessive allele with a recessive allele, never mind what i said
