Do you prefer Pink Floyd's earlier or later albums, and should the band have changed its name after Roger Waters left? He appeared to think so (personally, I'm with David Gilmour on this one.)

Together, their work was at their best, and many could agree that after RogerWaters left, a part of Floyd died. And it took on a new sound... just as Pink Floyd took on a new sound after Syd left. The sound changed drastically once Roger took control of the lyrics, and the music matured with David and Rick's brilliant playing and harmonizing vocals. Nick's precise percussion cannot be overlooked either.

I love every era of Pink Floyd. All their music moves me one way or another, and that's what counts.
