how do you type?

Do you still have to look at the keyboard or can you do it without having to?
I've been on a computer at my job all the time for almost 3 years now, and I still have to look at the keyboard constantly.

i type fast but i have to look at the keyboard though...but not constantly my eyes just stay on the keyboard till im done typing

After about 17 years of typing, I can do it without looking at the keyboard except for the numbers and then I still have to look

When I look at the keyboard it only confuses me. I have been typing for a long time and it is a major part of my job description so no I don't have to look at the keyboard.

I still look at the keyboard every once in a while. It's kind of like a practice that we learned while we were learning! And that's routine or us. But some people I've seen who type by looking only at the keyboard or with their index fingers have been some of the fastest and most accurate typists I have seen! So however you type, you'll get your point across!!!

I learned to type when I was 7 years old. I haven't really looked at a keyboard in years.

I never look at the keyboard...but I've been typing for 25 years.

I took two years of typing in high school (back when we had typewriters) and the only time I have to look at the keyboard is for numbers and the symbols above them. I never could get that right.

I don't look at the keyboard unless I'm in a hurry

Tape a peice of paper over your keyboard and look only when you absolutly need to. I don't look at the keyboard. It will come with time. -Rayna
