i found out the other week that in xfactor the judges don't audition everyone...only a few people are judged by them (the ones shown on tv)
anyone auditioned for it or a show like it?
do the producers audition them first...and then if they say yes, then the person sees the judges and the get to decide.
i think this is so stupid. if your a real good singer, but don't have a sad story etc and you don't get through!
if i'm wrong about the auditon process please correct me!

What cover songs have you heard that were very well done?

I heard the cover of "Sweet Child O Mine" by Cheryl Crow (I think it was she)- but it was not good. It kind of sucked out loud. LOL. The original was absolutely fantastic, though- Guns N Roses wrote a powerful, enchanting, classic Rock ballad when they wrote it.

I kind of like that cover by Spider Bait- "Black Betty", which was originally done by Ram Jam. : )

I think they have said no to some really good singers. I liked the girl that had just got married and the one where her Dad tried to kill himself and is now paralized. It may even be the same girl, but I think they have let some good ones get away!

what would it be? i mean if inuyasha is 1/2 demon and kagome in 0 demon dose that mean there kid would be 1/4 demon..........

My question is why does Mace WIndou use a purple light saber? I already know that the Sith use red lightsabers, and the Jedi use blue, and once a Jedi becomes a Jedi master, he gets a green lightsaber. But how does a Jedi get a purple lightsaber? Mace Windou is my favorite Star Wars Character, and I would really appreciate it, if somebody can tell me why Mace Windou uses a purple lightsaber.

The pentagon recently found it had too many generals and offered an early retirement bonus. They promised any general who retired right away, his full annual benefits PLUS $10,000 for every inch measured in a straight line along the retiring general's body between two points he chose.

The first general accepted. He asked the pension man to measure from the top of his head to the tip of his toes. 6 feet. He walked out with a check for $720,000.

The second general asked them to measure from the tip of his outstretched hands to his toes. 8 feet. He walked out with a check for $960,000.

Meantime, the first general had tipped off the third. When he was asked where to measure, he told the pension man, "from the tip of my p--is to the tip of my testicles." The pension man said that would be fine but he'd better get the Medical Officer to do the measuring.

The Medical Officer attended and asked the general to drop 'em... he did...
