...on E! aka The Girls Next Door. Does anyone know if there's seasons? I don't know if I missed the finale of a new season or what. I've been watching it for a couple of months but it seems like all of a sudden there are all these new episodes. I love that show and I don't even know why...I guess it's just crazy to see how fancy their lives are...and yes I know..that's not what matters but it's still interesting to watch.

My picks: First, Texas. Second, Mississippi.

Texas: some of the friendliest people anywhere; huge, thriving cities (D/FW, Austin, San Antonio, Houston,) great job market, eclecticism in Austin, history in San Antonio and Ft. Worth, beaches, mountains, prairies, deserts, corn nuggets, Houston Astros, a great state! And the women...wow!

Mississippi: beautiful state, nothing like the smell of pine forest on a warm, rainy morning. True southern food, great southern hospitality, Southhaven and Gulf Coast are emerging as thriving areas. If I didn't choose Texas to live in, it would be Mississippi!

Kentucky, while beautiful, is no hotbed of economic growth and progessive thinking. The politicians have helped to prohibit growth and development. People are, by and large, guarded and frankly hateful (especially Louisville); small towns are very sheltered and closed off to "the outside." I'm a native who has NEVER felt comfortable or at home there.
