This guy asked me to a dance. I'm 17, he's 16, we're in the same grade and school. We talk some, and e-mail a lot. And, I e-d him that he could back out if he wanted and he said that's not an option. Then, I asked him why and he came up with several reasons. But, last week, i found out i couldn't go cuz i have to take the ACT the next day. He said it was ok, but now he's acting kinda strange around me. y?

I absolutely detest it. Sometimes at work there is nothing to do but you find yourself "pretending" to be doing something productive when your actually just killing time.

You don't want to be caught by your boss because your afraid he might give you more work, then when things do get busy you get overwhelmed.

Having to "look busy" is just terrible. This is especially true for people who work for wages and get paid by the hour instead of a salary.

Has this ever happened to you? How do you deal? What are your experiences?

He had Down Syndrome I believe. He played on a few shows aside from that show. Did he pass away, or is he just away from the spotlight. ( and off the subject, can a person with down syndrome live a full life cause I can't ever recall a person over 40 with the condition?)

So this man goes into a bar and orders a drink. The bar has a robot bartender. The robot serves him a perfectly prepared cocktail, and then asks him, "What's your IQ?" The man replies "150" and the robot proceeds to make conversation about global warming factors, quantum physics and spirituality, biomimicry, environmental interconnectedness, string theory, nano-technology, and sexual proclivities.

The customer is very impressed and thinks, "This is really cool." He decides to test the robot. He walks out of the bar, turns around, and comes back in for another drink. Again, the robot serves him the perfectly prepared drink and asks him, "What's your IQ?"

The man responds, "about a 100." Immediately the robot starts talking, but this time, about football, NASCAR, baseball, supermodels, favorite fast foods, and guns.

Impressed now, the man leaves the bar and decides to give the robot one more test. He heads out and returns, the robot serves him and asks, "What's your IQ?"

The man replies, "Er ahh, 50, I think." And the robot says... very slowly, "Soooooooo...............
