In California...in a nice area...you would pay about $1,200 a month...maybe more....for a 2 bedroom...my daughter lives in Irvine, Ca. (Orange county)....a 2 bdroom there is $1,800......isnt that ridiculous? In Arizona rent is much cheaper...if you dig the heat and dryness of the area.

There is a category on here called "travel". Your best bet is to go to that category, go under Arizona, New Mexico, California and Florida and ask this question there. They can help you better than "polls and surveys".

Look on rent .com. It will give you prices and pictures of each of the apts. you look at.
