I was wondering how to write a song? I mean, i have ideas and stuff.. I wrote 1 song but it didn't sound right when i sung it. Any ideas or tips?

I am always trying to be the comedian at our family xmas parties and tonight we had one. now what happened was that my mom got these slingshot monkeys for 2 of my uncles and when you through them they made sound. so i went off with this whole story about them!

" so we all know there was a time when the world was rules by monkeys. walking down the street, you just hear who who ha ha ha! so you bow down! And no you didn't have doorbells, you had this thing in your living room that went who who ha ha ha ha ha! and when you answered the door, all you heard outside was who who ha ha ha ha ha! and then this monkey jumps up bites your face off and just walks down the street saying who who ha ha ha ha ha! then they lost their rule when we realized they were listening to their conshense who was telling them who to kill but they didn't hear the name and when they finally did, they laughed because they were miniacle genuises!"

i always wanted to go to spain, and now that i've just graduated form college and dont have ajob yet, i am thinking that maybe after the new year celebration, i can go to spain on my own???
do u think its crazy?
i know my parents wont understand me, its not something that i do, but i really want to?
do u think i should?????
maybe just for a week, how much do u think it will cost? and should i do this, despite that it is an out of the blue idea and i know everyone will be agains it,,, especially now, when my parents need the money ( but i will spend my own $ without giving it to them)

A new one for me has to be an episode of Everyone Loves Raymend... series 3 episode 25 I think, when Robert and Amy are caught in the act by Marie, and Amy says to Marie 'Sometimes the noodles in your lasagne are over cooked'

Its the everyones response and Marie looks like she is about to collapse! then Marie says to 'Clearly, that is not the girl for you'

I was nearly in tears I love that show!... who else loves this show?

I'm quite a novice when it comes to playing guitar so i;m goning to have to ask quite a big question, but i was wandering, all i know when playing a guitar are open chords and barre chords. I've only ever heard of 7th chords and other types and i'm not sure whether these are barre chords, open chords or what. It's the same with "power chords". What are they? How are they defined? And are there any other types i should know about?
