Chapter 1
From good, to bad, to worse


“ Isabella?… Isabella?… ISABELLA?!?!?!” Said Mr. Katorski, my history teacher. I swear that he fails everyone on purpose. I fell asleep in class… again. But hey you would too if all you learn is about dead guys! Who cares?! “ Look Carmela you are in the tenth grade and don’t even know who the first president was!” he said. Thank gods that it was last period! “ Um… Sorry Mr. Katorski but with being the cheerleading captain and all I never have time to study!” I said. “ Um hmm. Okay, just remember to study a little more!” he said. “ Will do.” I said.

Hi I’m Isabella Brown. I’m sixteen years old and am captain of the junior varsity cheerleading team. Our mascot is the emerald bulls, ( sound scary?)J Anyway I have and mom but my dad died of leukemia last year. I’m an only child, which probably explains why I’m spoiled! And…

Ring! Ring! Finally schools out! Now to show you my actual life! “ Hey sweetie.” Jason said.

That’s Jason, my boyfriend. He’s the star quarterback of the football team and is super hot.

“ Hey.” As he gave me a kiss hello. “ So do you wanna go to the movies tonight?” He asked. “ Sure” I said. “ Cool. Pick you up around eight?” He asked. “ K.” I replied. And he walked away. “ Isabella! Isabella!” Ashley Shrieked.

That’s Ashley. I’ve known her since the second grade. She always has the latest gossip.

“ Hey ash what’s up?” I asked. “ Big news Izzy. It’s too big to say right now, just get on IM tonight.” She said. “ Cool.” I replied.

Now I am at home. Ah home sweet home. I got on the computer, signed on to IM as me-myself-and-I, had a sip of thunders cola, and chatted with three people, Ashley, Jason, and my friend Michelle.

Supersassybabe6- Hey grl member that cheer praktis is canceled 2morrow.

(Michelle is a cheerleader too.)

Me-myself-and-I- Don’t wry I no, w8 lemme set a chat with Jason and Ashley.
Supersassybabe6- k.

Me-myself-and-I- sure.
Lovemeorhateme17- Well I heard that Lila was seen kissing Mark Johnson behind the bleachers after cheer practice!

Okay just to give you a heads up the cheer squad is made up of me, Michelle, Ashley, Lila, Alexa, Brooke, Katie, Annie, Lindsey, and Sara.

quarterbakdude- Hey Izzy. btr get ready for 2nite, it’s 7:30.

As I got dressed for tonight I kept thinking, “ I have a feeling that something is wrong.” I didn’t have time to think about it now, Jason would be here in a second and, Ding! Dong! That was the doorbell. Probably Jason. It wasn’t. It was our pizza guy. He goes to my school. His name is Craig. “ Where the heck is Jason?!?!” I thought. “ It’s 8:30 and her isn’t even here yet!” So I called him… no answer. So I decided to call Ashley, after all she always has the latest gossip! Ring…Ring… “ Hello?” She asked. “ Hey Ash do you have any idea on where Jason is?” I asked. “ Nope, Not a clue, Bye!” She said only so fast, and then hung up. “ That was weird.” I thought. Which meant I knew that something was up with Jason. So I called Michelle. She never likes to lie. Ring… Ring… “ Hey Izzy I can’t talk right now I am on my way to visit…” dead silence. “ Hey Michelle you there?” I asked. “ Yeah um… Isabella I’m sorry but… Izzy Jason is in the hospital… he got in a car accident on the way to pick you up.” She said. Dum… Dum… Dum… I hung up the phone. “ How could this be?” I thought. “ He’s a star quarterback, Shouldn’t he already be coordinated?” I didn’t have time to think about this. I had to go see Jason. So I hoped in my car and drove to cross hold memorial hospital.

As I drove there I picked up some food from the fanciest restaurant in town since me and Jason didn’t get to have our date tonight. When I got there I went up to the front desk and asked what room Jason Mitchell was in. And she said… “ Jason Mitchell is in surgery right now and won’t be out for a couple of more hours you can wait for him if you’d like.” I’ll I could do is shake my head no and say, “ No thanks, but can you tell him the Isabella Brown stopped by?” “ Of course, no problem.” She said as I turned around and walked away.

I couldn’t say anything. All I did was go home and write this in my internet diary:

Dear Diary,

I just couldn’t understand what had happened. I am too sad to write about it. I’m just gonna let my heart do the talking…:

My heart is the one to blame.
To make this pain go away.
In a way I made it bad.
And turned my happiness into sad.
I made it happen.
It was me.
To Jason can’t you see?
I closed my eyes and covered my ears.
To block out the sounds I did not want to hear.
And as I write this poem I’ll soon regret.
This big mistake I shall never forget.
So Jason can’t you see.
I’ll forgive you ASAP.


I turned off my computer, got into bed, and cried myself to sleep.

Now I don't want anyone mentioning Deliverance or duelling banjos or any of that rubbish. . This is a european question about a specific piece of music.

I play the banjo - a lot- and thought I was aware of most of the contemporary banjo tunes around. We were on holiday recently and saw an acrobat performing to an instrumental tune which features a "banjo" - either a real banjo or a synthesised one. It was a very impressive piece of music and I'd love to learn it. I reckon I have heard it a couple of times before, on UK radio and I was hoping someone could explain which piece of music it's likely to be.

It definitely wasnt cotton eyed joe , i know that.....

PS once again can I stress that this is not a question about Scruggs or bluegrass but any help would be appreciated!

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!! you have been warned!

Ok, i had high hopes for this film. Everyone had said it was really good and stuff so i went and thought "this is gonna be AMAZING" i was way off. I enjoyed the first half, the airport bit was really good, probably the best bit. Well then it went all down hill. Especially once Bond got poisened. At least that happened, i wouldnt want to have to watch random people playing poker for one more second, without a little action. Then well, i lost complete intrest and really wanted just to walk out. Also this film just kept getting stretched on and on, it could have ended many many times before it did. And even then killing off both Bond girls, and with Bond shooting this random guy, didnt work for me.

Oh yeh, an extra complaint , where was Q and Miss Moneypenny, they make a Bond film Bond, if you know what i mean!

This song was featured on Alias in a scene where Syndey and Vaughn were driving recklessly through a parking ramp trying to escape. I also think it's been used in a car commercial, it has that kind of sound to it. Sort of a dance song.

They start to go to school and the local thugs have a crush on the young girl and end up trying to rape her. So the brother tries to exact his revenge. It is based in Florida. The husband had just finished reading the book, 'MAN OF THE HOUSE'.

He stormed into the kitchen and walked directly up to his wife. Pointing a finger in her face, he said, "From now on, I want you to know that I am the man of this house, and my word is law!

I want you to prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, and when I'm finished eating my meal, I expect a sumptuous dessert afterward.

Then, after dinner, you are going to draw me my bath so I can relax, and when I'm finished with my bath, guess who's going to dress me and comb my hair?"

His wife replied, "The fcuking funeral director would be my guess."
