I'm trying to play Ray LaMontagne's "Trouble"

Gollum (as Smegal) found the ring buried in the mud at the bottom of a lake - it had obviously been left there undiscovered for some time.

So why couldn't Frodo have buried the ring in a similar place to get rid of it? Why go thru' all the hassle of going to the mountains of doom or whatever they were called?

Please, don't say 'because it makes a good story' - because I disagree. It doesn't.

Anyway, in essence, why didn't the Hobbit just bury the ring?

do you feel a little upset when you find out that some rappers and singers dont write their own song lyrics? do you think this shows a lack of real talent and skills? would you compare it to acting? if you are like me, i look deeply into the lyrics and i find meaning in them. anybody can rap and deliver but it takes a talented person to write from the heart and i find it more meaningful when the artist writes and raps his own lyrics.

Ok, i'm tired too but i have to know.........?
how is it any different from what kramer did then what any other comedian has ever done? since this thing is being blown up so big shouldn't all comedians be on the chopping block and forking over apologies? seriously i am sure everyone has seen the stand up for chris rock (where he repeatedly said cracker for at least a minute when describing a white person, where is his apology?) same could go for eddie murphy and so on.
