Ok, i'm tired too but i have to know.........?
how is it any different from what kramer did then what any other comedian has ever done? since this thing is being blown up so big shouldn't all comedians be on the chopping block and forking over apologies? seriously i am sure everyone has seen the stand up for chris rock (where he repeatedly said cracker for at least a minute when describing a white person, where is his apology?) same could go for eddie murphy and so on.

Have you actually heard the tape of what he said? It was not a joke. It was not humorous. It was a racist rant.

I agree that other comedians use slurs and racial epithets, but usually they manage to keep it humorous or funny, and a lot of them make a geniune statement about people and/or race relations. Not all, but most.

Michael Richards didn't. He was angry with the guy, and he just flat called him the n-word because he was angry. It wasn't funny. It didn't make a statement or have any kind of social relevance, except to reveal "Kramer" as a racist.

I think the difference is that Chris Rock does it in a joking manner and also makes fun of black people, not just whites. Michael Richards's words were send in a tirade. And sometimes people's true feelings come out when they are angry. This is just my opinion.
