Blind Faith (1969)
Eric Clapton (Cream) Ginger Baker (Cream) Steve Winwood (Traffic) Ric Grech (Family)
Blind Faith helped to pioneer a fusion of rock and roll with the blues and their album was an early innovative recording in the development of heavy metal.
vs.
Pigface (1990) - (Wild card 2 winner)
The industrial supergroup. Martin Atkins (Ministry), Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), Steve Albini, Nivek Ogre (OhGr, Skinny Puppy).
Pigface was born with the intention of keeping a revolving-door style collaboration with many experimentally-minded musicians.
Like the previous match-up, these two band are worlds apart, musically, but in fact have similar roles, as influences which evolved their genres.
