I'm not sure if this method would work with paper, but it might. You can hang fabric on walls using a simple solution of corn starch and water as a paste. Removing the wall treatment is as simple as spraying water on it and wiping down the walls. I saw this done on a decorating show on TV a couple years back and the effect was great. It's cool because you can always switch to new fabric when you're ready for a change. You might experiment using a piece of masonite and see if it works with tissue paper or other papers.

See the link I gave for more details. It's a blog entry where the woman goes into detail about the process. Hope that helps!

One of the nicest rooms I've seen was decorated with things that didn't cost a penny.

Newspaper and magazine cuttings.

All over-lapping, some black & white, some coloured, some news articles, some photos - whatever took the persons fancy.

No wall could be seen - no gaps, 4 walls and ceiling, and it looked really good. All you need are old mags etc, a pair of scissors and some paste.
