Who wants a National Viking Appreciation Day???

Vikings are so left out of our modern culture. I say it's about time we celebrate their unique, rich, barbarous heritage.
We could have parades with floats shaped like longboats, and we could wear helmets with horns on them and drink lots of ale!!
And have bonfires at the end of the day. (pillaging optional)

I officially declare October 1 as National Viking Appreciation Day!!!
