I think that listening to their last 2 cd's, Speakerboxxx\The Love Below, and Idlewild, it's obvious that their creative differences are showing more and more. Big Boi still has that hip hop southern flava while Andre 3000 is on a Prince and Lenny Kravitz type vibe. Think they'll be better off splitting up?

The new Decemberists album, The Crane Wife, is set to release in October. It will be the their first release on a major label, and I've already heard from several fans of the band that they think the album will be a disappointment.

Do people fear label tampering? Do people think that creativity will be stifled? Do people automatically assume that the band's sound will be changed? Is a change in sound always a bad thing? What if The Crane Wife had been released on their old label -- would it still be meet with the same distaste?

I'm looking forward to it, although I agree that it will be tough to top Her Majesty and Picaresque.

I have taken barbizon classes for modeling and acting but i just find it fun so i want ed to see what other people thought about it jsut because its something that not personal people i know have been involved in and they just dont get how much fun it is im a hard core bball oplayer but also i love to model so yea.

I think it would make an interesting read for all those Beatles fans all over the world, to compare notes. 'Things we said today' is an all time favourite. Why? It reminds me of wandering minstrels in rural India and Bangladesh. There's something very spiritual about the song.
