ugh here in Minnesota they do. for example, tonight i wanted to watch the new episode of big brother but of course theres a weather break in. ALL HOUR LONG! and of course right after the show is done they go back to programming. it happens every summer here in minnesota. if theres severe weather near a farm in the sticks but still sunny in the twin cities you better hope you dont have a show you want to see! i mean they could just put one of those boxes at the bottom saying where the weather is. if you are too dumb to understand that i have no idea how you live! i know im just venting but im wondering if it's like this in every market in the country?? or do they just overreact here in MN?

A man lives on the 10th floor of a building. Every day he gets in the elevator, rides down to the ground floor and goes to work. When he comes home from work, he gets in the elevator rides up to the 5th floor but has to take the stairs the rest of the way up to his apartment on the 10th floor. Except on rainy days; on rainy days when coming home from work, he rides the elevator all the way up to the 10th floor to his apartment.

Why must he take the stairs when it's not raining?
Why does he ride the elevator to the 10th floor only when it's raining?

For me it's "The Golden Girls." It doesn't remind me of "work", social status, or Hollywood's (America's?) obsession about thinnes, money, glamour, youth, or aging ^_* That's why I find it most comforting at the end of the day.
