When I was living in Vancouver there this song was constantly on The Fox ..I think its by 3 Doors Down or some other Canadian band..the only lyircs I remember are something about knocking on your door....."where the hell are you when I need you"? Its an angry kinda song! I love it, please tell me what it is.

I really like the instrumentral parts of the following songs (1989-1992):Playin' in the Band, Crazy Fingers, Dark Star and some Drumz and Space. Is there a Jazz(?) band that plays like this a majority of the time? I would really appreciate a good answer. Thank you.
