Really, they didn't reveal anything about what happened between them. I don't think they wanted to be open about it for privacy reasons, and so they wouldn't upset their fans. On the Newlyweds, they seemed fine and they put on happy faces. But, if you keep up with celebrity gossip, read celebrity magazines, or watch The E! or other shows like that, you could see that something wasn't right between them. They kind of slyly hinted it gradually. I personally think that a number of things (celebrity type things: what they did, the movies they did, how much time they had for each other) pulled them apart. It's really a shame to see a perfect couple like them split up, though. There's no way to tell exactly what happened. Good question! (rumours also do conclude that Jessica cheated. I think she got bored with the marriage.)

He flirted outrageously with a couple of college girls he met at a football game. He claims nothing happened. They claim there was kissing and fondling. They had big mouths. Jessica found out. Saw a divorce lawyer. The divorce is officially over. Another one bites the dust.
Guess what, a new football season is starting soon.

The rumors state that Jessica cheated on Nick. He has neither confirmed nor denied this, but his last video seemed to indicate that on top of the pressure from the cameras that were constantly in their home recording everything, she just wasn't interested in working it out. But my take on it..................Nick got bored with the blonde bimbo act and was ready to move on to someone that had some substance.
