...it's called slang...ebonics is slang...calling a black person "black" is not offensive to most...do you want to date a black girl? You seem to be very "curious" about the "black people" and who would a black girl date? If you want some "brown sugar" go for it...don't be shy...just be respectful and direct. Good luck, bro.

If you pronounce it with a long o it's "bro". If it sound's like bra, it's spelled "bruh" like brutha man...cuz bra means underwear so, you don't wanna get people confused.
