I like the bands like Staind, Linkin Park, Korn, and all of them good ones that are popular..I always wanted to sing like Chester from Linkin Park with the screaming voice..how can I start a song as far as writing it?

The words I can remember are:
This old road...I don't know where it leads....I don't care...as long as it leads some where...
The verse:
This bus is awful cold...we've gone so many miles...Lord help me go to sleep and forget him for a while...I know it's not his fault...I've known it all along...
It was sung by a woman or a female group. That is all I can remember and it has been driving me mad for 36 years...who sings it...what is it's name...Help!!!!

Not sure if the name of it was My Pretty Little Girl; or if that was a line in the song. She is 84 and can not remember the name or the person that recorded it. Her Love died in 1958,"My Dad". She sees herself joining him soon and wants to hear it one more time and have it played at her service graveside. Is there some-one that can help me to find this songs name and the artist's name, that I might get this for her? Please Help.. Such will be most appreciated. Thanks, Reason....

isn't it disturbing that the the 14-year-old son of Robert Altman, Mike Altman, wrote the lyrics to the theme song for MASH.

the song is pretty disturbing.

That suicide is painless,
It brings on many changes
And I can take or leave it if I please.

isn't it disturbing that a 14 year old could write that?

A man is lying in a hospital bed with an oxygen mask over his mouth. A young nurse enters his room to sponge his face and hands. "Nurse," he mumbles from behind the mask, "Are my testicles black?" Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know Mr. Jones, I'm only here to wash your face and hands." He struggles again to ask, "Nurse, are my testicles black?" I been having a argement with a family member over which is better. I say it is better to tell them they are not trustworthy enough to their face, rather than them finding out by you telling others.

They say it is better to warn others that they cannot be trusted, rather than tell them to their face.

They might change if you told them to their face, but the would find you untrustworthy, and would they themselves become less trustworthy, as a result of finding this out most probably.

So, would you rather tell them to their face, or others behind their back?

If you listen closely to the lyrics, it applys to today's world as well as it did back when it was released, probably late 60's or early 70's. Also, does anyone remember Johnny Giiutar Watson? I love his song Ain't That A *****, that applies to today as well!
