because it makes everyone feel good...think about it..the people who think it is a load of dross feel superior to the people who genuinely like it.I find that there is a certain element that proudly boasts that they cant see the point of watching a group of people sitting around in a house all day just to let people know they have better things to do with there time.Why then are these same people the most boring,self-centred,smug,self opinionated,bigoted,narrow minded,ignorant,tedious individuals that i unfortunately have to share my time on earth with?
Of course they have something better to do than watch this fascinating public experiment of social interacton.They are too busy perfecting their "constructive" meaningful lives which probably includes slagging off assylum seekers because they are "all ears" to mindless propaganda!
Not having a go at the question asker cos they just dont get it,that's different.But what exactly dont you get?what are you looking for?just take it at face value.If we took the time to study our fellow man more I doubt the world would be in such an ugly mess.

Because Like to watch and see what people will do with out know family sometimes no true friends no TV no newspaper Phone and Oh Ya No Internet or Computer to play with for a few days weeks and and even months

I am on this because my family have been brian washed by Big bro and i cannot go into the living room!! although personally people watch it to make em selves feel better cos the house mates are all so sad!
p.s i have a conspiracy that the swirly intro and narrator are really subliminal messages wahahahahahah

There's nothing wrong with viewing it now and again as entertainment, but to watch it at every opportunity? Or let it rule your life?
A manipulated & controlled television programme produced for a part of society too lazy and idle to have an interesting life of it's own?
People who watch other people living a life, instead of living a life of their own?
I'm not surprised the UK government are concerned with a couch potato generation which could lead to obesity.
A disturbing glimpse of a future society?

Big Brother has been good in the past except for this years one and the one with Cameron from Shetland ended up being the winner. The only saving grace about this years one is the hilarious Nicky. Its all to bitchy and not enough action.

It's not popular it's addictive. In the opening credits a lot of words flash up incredibly fast, so you know you saw them but you don't know what they said. I think the whole programme uses subliminal messages to keep the audience hooked.

It is terrible. People watch it just for the sex scenes. It has no plots. Everything on the TV seems to be pretty predictable. Who cares about bunch of people living together! It is a waste of time.

Thats what I've been thinking. Everyone talks about it and goes on and on and I'm just there thinking, I don't care. I find it very boring and useless. All its about is ppl in a house, whooo! how exciting. I feel the same about eastenders too.

I keep thinking why would you like to watch people doing usual stuff in their normal daily life with the same silly arguments and discussions? Don't you also do that yourself everyday?
