4/3 out of 5 days at work we listen to 95.7 the Vibe which is a rap/hip hop station. I've never been a big fan of the genre which may very well be my answer, but after having listened to it for as long as I have and heard many of the top songs...I don't get why people like rap. Most of the songs I hear sound like they were written by a very horny highschool teen. It seems so superficial! (course I listen to Classic Rock so...yeah) There's rarely any other music outside of a $30 keyboard for the drums, bass and any other sounds other than the same repeated lines. Some songs are lyrically diverse. All else sounds like chanting. I wish I could say the same 3 sentences for 2 min. and 35 seconds and make millions. The whole "gangsta" lifestyle I don't get. Grillz? They look as goofy as my hippie hair. All the "ho's" and "biatches" are easier than tic-tac-to against my dog. And when they try to look "tough," they look more like they're pouting. Someone explain to me this phenomena PLEASE.
