Work work work work work.

And get to know people. Every person you meet is a connection.

Don't quit, and don't be lazy. The two go hand in hand.

You sometimes have to know someone or be in the right place at the right time. There's a lot of talent out there. Check Google, keyword talent/talent search/rapper/ghost writer etc. maybe something will come up to help you. G/L

If you are a talented rapper, then record a demo of a few of your songs (with lyric sheets) and send it out to record companies. In the cover letter, mention that you would even accept a job writing for others, if that is true.

If your rapping isn't necessarily any good, but your writing is good, then look in the back of music magazines for ads looking for lyricists. There are almost always at least a few. They will have instructions for contacting them and submitting a sample.

In either case, be sure to copyright your work first, so it doesn't get stolen! The music biz can be wicked like that.

Don't be a ghost writer..be proud of your "views" and come out with them and if you want to be a "rapper" be positive and rap about things going on in the streets and ect. Go to Barnes & Noble or any large book store chain....and go buy Book Markets for 2006. It will tell you how to do everything and where to mail it and get noticed. I'm a writer for children's books "an author" and I love the fact you're young and want to write! Good luck and remember...The things you write about could in-fact influence another..So be positive! Good luck and God bless!

Demo. Demo. If you've got skills put it on CD.

Develop your demo (3 of your tightest hits).

Get the artwork done for a complete CD Demo Package.

Website: Use your web prescence as a reference point from your demo package back to your website. (Website should be spiffy)

If you are willing to invest the time in making your sound and personality presentable the more likely you are to get someone or someones who are willing to invest in you.

Hope this helps.....

HIt me up if you need help marketing....
