Who hates TRL?

Wow, MTV isn't what it used to be. It's littered with horrible and bland pop/rap songs. I mean, Pearl Jam's new video/song "Life Wasted" is awesome, you would think the video would be in heavy rotation? Wrong. Instead, you have the untalented Lil' John in Pearl Jam's place. What happened? TRL used to be mainly rock, now the only rock is emo crap by Fall Out Boy and the All-American Rejects!! And the show used to play the full videos, now it's like 45-second snippets of each video!! What do you think about the state of MTV (I mean, come on. How could they put on crappy shows like Laguna Beach?) and, in particular, TRL.

Another rockabilly question.?

I've played drums (punk rock) for15 years. I've been asked to play in a start up, rockabilly band. I was wondering just how big the market for such a thing can really be. And what kinda labels are working with rockabilly groups and to what success. I'm kinda stressed about the whole gig 'cause I've got NO experiance playing this kinda music. Any tips? Thanx!
