Have you ever smelled something that smells like something that is not even close to what you are smelling?

there is a hall at my work that when you walk by this one door it smells like sweaty men are in there and i know it is just a furnace or something

well.... if i dont put on deoderant my underarms start to smell like pizza.... does that count???

yes all the time!!! examples: Poplar trees can smell like salami or come!!! Deodorant can smell like b.o. before its used..orange juice and vodka smells like throw up ,whatever.. its mental (memorys of an aroma being jostled by another aroma, like an experience you're real familiar with or an event with a particular smell...and any reminder of it will make you think of the previous smell, as opposed to the current smell... ...i dont know.

When I was growing up, there was this weed we called skunk weed, if you left it alone it didn't smell like anything, but if you broke its leaves, it smelled like a skunk. Does that count?

YEAH SOMETIMES I CAN SMELL SOMETHING AND THE ONLY WAY TO DESCRIBE THE SMELL IS TO SAY THAT IT SMELL THE WAY SOMETHING TASTE...HMMM I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT WAS WEIRD
