i think that if they don't learn when they are younger(7 years and up) they get more bolder and feel they can get away with anything, knowing that they will be only repremanded and sent to their room, wheres there is a tv, computer etc.(o pity me they say) but when they get older and get in trouble with the law the police don't hesitate about beating the crap out of them and putting them in handcuffs, in which they end up in prison.at this stage the parent is called a bad parent because they did'nt raise there child with respect to others, where a little caning would have guided them in the right direction. the majority of kids are great but there is a handfull that needs a helping hand (cane) to guide them in the right direction.
