I guess you could call this a regional question, but none of our classic rock stations play any hair metal bands. Am I missing something here? I mean, the big hair era was basically rock n' roll taken to it's highest point and wrongly labeled "metal" to begin with. They have no problem playing the same songs from Pink Floyd and U2 until the moon rises, but you can forget about Cinderella and Great White.

Both of which were two hugely underrated blues-based hard rock bands. Granted however you will hear the rare Bon Jovi tune from time to time, but it's ALWAYS "Livin' on a Prayer". What gives?

For me, it depends on my mood. If I want to argue, I go over to Immigration or Religion. If I'm feeling silly I tend to stick to Polls & Surveys. ~smiles
