This question is extremely open ended. It certainly depends upon the tastes of the person answering, but as far as the one person who has had the most impact ever in music history I would have to say Elvis Aaron Presley by a landslide. No one before him was able to captivate people of all genres...gospel, country, rock, soul, blues...like he did. He was the first "Super Star" ever, and he completely changed Music as we know it today. You can thank him for paving the way for every entertainer that breaks new ground. He did it first. He was the first performer to ever cause riots at his appearances, and actually was responsible for women passing out in his pressence, and filling the local hospitals up with victims of faintness and stampedes. He's called "THE KING" for a reason.
