they have always been in competition, because they are the only two young successful rappers that grew up in the industry.(the media started the comparisons which led to the competition) anyways, lil romeo took offense to a line in bow wow's song "freshazimiz". the line was, i'm under 18 makin' more than your pops (or somethin like that) that line obviously was not directed at romeo, his dad is master p and very few people make more than him. it was a line that bow wow borrowed from an old ll cool j song. but it offended romeo and now there's beef.

It's because on Bow Wows song Freshazimis when he says " Im 18 ***** making more then your dad" Romeo thought he was talking about (romeo's)his dad. Then that 's when the beef started.

because it seemed as when they were smaller people would say things like they are pretty muck the same. romeo took dance moves from bow-wow, and bow-wow tok 2 song and changed them around. they are proving to them selfs, that they are not the same, and that they are better than one another.

Because they're not selling as well as they had when they were young children...the industry needs that kind of conflict in order to legitimize the so-called "hip-hop" culture; which, in my view, is nothing more than a bunch of idiots (that believe they're stars) attempting to be gangsters.
