Not Homework.

An acrostic poem is a poem in which the first letter of each line spells out a word. Example:

Garbage

Grounds (coffee)
Apple (core)
Rinds (mellon)
Banana (peel)
Anchovies (from a pizza I wouldn't eat)
Grapes (too ripe to eat)
Emptying the stinking bag (my job)

For those who do not know or understand the rules of cricket.

There are two teams, one in, one out,
the team thats out tries to get the team thats in, out,
then the team thats in go out, and the team thats out go in,
then the team that was in, but now out, try to get the team that was out, but now in, out,
When the team thats out get the in team out, they go in again and the team thats gone out try to get the in team out agian.

The team with the most runs wins.

Simple really. now if I can just get someone to explain the rules of baseball to me...............

I've heard this phrase several times in many different places, but I have no idea what it means. I know what the two words mean individually, but they don't seem to make any sense together. I Googled it and got 78,200 results, which suggests that it's a fairly common phrase. Anyone have any ideas?
