Does this make sense?

Her lips were a luscious tint of red, her eyes, a twinkling orchestra of cerulean, and her hair, a wave of golden sunlight.

If you have a better way for me to word it....
Or if it just makes no sense at all....
please tell me..

Thanks for you time

"It requires a great deal of learning."

It doesn't sound right to me. How can I make it proper?

How do you write this?

Mary's, the mother's, dog is brown.
Mary's, the mother, dog is brown.
...or something else?

Or does it never work, and I should just write "The dog of Mary, the mother, is brown." ?

Well you know how people use this rule when using whom or who:
he/she=who
him/her=whom

Is there a way of figuring out (or another rule) when you're using the word whose?
