i am reading something in english..

there is some sentence that is ' i am a writer. it is so pleasent a profession that it is not surprising that a vast number of persons dopt it who have no qualifications for it'.

what i can't understand is 'who have no qualifications for it'.

originally, isn't ' a profession who have no qualifications for it adopt it ' in the sentence ?

if the sentence is right , give me the reson why 'who have~' is not at after persons and can be at after it.

can you understand what i said???...

acturally .... i asked this question yesterday... and people gave me the answers more... but i couldnt understand..
please give me other answers......
i just want to improve my english...

I am making high school graduation invitations for my cousin. I am trying to find a phrase that would be appropriate for the cover. The picture shows my cousin as a senior looking back at a picture of herself when she was younger. Any ideas welcome.
I was thinking of things like "you've(or I've) come along way" but I think it's a little too cheesy. Please help.

For example, "all but ordinary" -- I've seen "all but" used in ways so that this could mean that something is simply ordinary, or that it is anything but ordinary. Which is it?

Hi,
Sometimes I feel that even if I dont use say a/an, the sentence can convey the same meaning, which I want to convey. I mean it seems to me that there is no other possible interpretation of the statement, even if I omit a/an.. This makes me feel that sometimes a/an is redundant. Being a technical person, somehow my mind is automatically drawn to such redundancies..
Could someone pl discuss few sentences where omiting a/an/the makes the meaning of sentence different and susceptible to a different interpretation.
Thanks

We capitalize the word "God." We also capitalize the words "He," "Him," and "His" when they refer to God. So, why don't we capitalize the words "me" and "my" even though they refer to "I" which is capitalized?

Is anyone ever annoyed when people mix up the spellings of: "there, their, they're, your, you're, to, too and two?" I can't stand it!!! I've even seen them messed up in published works!!!
