ok so every now and then...usually when i have a fever i fall asleep and i have dreams of me attempting to count something(not really numbers) but just count lots of things...the amount ends up gettin too large and i feel overwhelmed...like as if its almost impossible to count this amount of anything...it would be like someone asking you to count every single ant in the world one by one...it just becomes to much for me in my dream and i go crazy...which results in me waking up sweating and panting and breathing hard...sometimes i will still wonder around the house still thinking of the amount that i was counting and cringing in overwhelmess(lack of better word) until i calm down...is this just a fever dream? does anyone have the same problem?

Algebrand and I were playing this game the other day and we realized how creepy it was. For example, 'live' backwards is 'evil' (gosh, I hear you cry) and 'lived' backwards is (scary, scary) 'devil'.

But...but, the most shocking one of all is 'backwards' itself! Because instead of spelling 'forwards' it is actually 'sdrawkcab', which sounds like the kind of thing Ossie Osbourne would say!

This was in a text book for kids learning English as a second language. There was a list of sentences to complete:

My favorite color IS BLUE.
My favorite food IS PIZZA.
My favorite fruit ____________????????????

The problem I see is that "fruit" is a countable noun in this sentence, and countable nouns don't fit into this sentence structure. Try the possibilities:

My favorite fruit is apple --NO...
My favorite fruit are apple.-- NO...
My favorite fruit is an apple.--Sounds wrong,...
My favorite fruit is the apple -- I think this is actually correct but it still sounds stupid,...

What do you think?

Gandhi had once said, ”Nonviolence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind. It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man.” Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, born on October 2, 1869, was born to a poor family in Portbandar, India. During this time, Britain had conquered most of India's geographic and political regions by the mid 19th century through the British East India Company, who had eventually become economically dependent on India. However, for the people of India, this not only created a huge economic downfall, but it also caused starvation that killed 30 million alone. Coming back from his training as a lawyer from South Africa, Gandhi had witnessed many accounts of racism and unjust rule in Africa. Influenced by many authors and religion, Gandhi’s nonviolence resistance helped end an unjust rule in India. But what does “nonviolent resistance really mean? According to the Florida International University, nonviolent resistance mean

I heard Hillary clinton say "Woman President". Is that gramatically correct?(Don't answer unless you have the grammer rules to back up your answer or I'll report your answer as bogus)

That to me sounds like something I'd hear "50 cent" say or somebody who who'd say "next ONline" instead of "INline" or "babby daddy" or "bby BY him". She is however a presidential candidate. One slip up is not really relivant, but I just want to know if it's correct since I see it being used now in reputable papers.

Would it not be "female president" or "president who is a woman"? I mean lets go with this..
Man President? Woman doctor? Woman dog? Woman police? Man police? Man driver?

I would just like to point out that I am NO english scholar and can't even spell to save my life, so when people make mistakes that are clearly wrong to me, it is further shocking to me. For example imagine how a 10 year old might feel if he noticed adults frequently saying "2x2=8"?
