According to the dictionary, the only meaning I can find for cartilage is cartilage in the human body ie cartilage in your knee.

But it's also used in building planning applications, specifically when talking about listed buildings, "within the cartilage of the proerty" "the cartilage of a building" "the residential cartilage".

I can't find a definition...does anyone know?

Thanks

The word is "anarchy"
The definitions are "absence of government, lawlessness and disorder.
My sentence that is horrible is-"if we lived in an anarchy, there would be a lot of disorder and confusion because we'd have no laws to follow."
can anyone help me with that so it's a little better?

The word is "jest", the definitions I got are-"prank or gag, to tease or make fun of" and my teacher said you're supposed to use it like "jest with..."
Here's my sentence, does it make sense?
"When the girl got angry at the boy for his rude comment, he replied with, "I was only jesting with you."
