The word is "anarchy"
The definitions are "absence of government, lawlessness and disorder.
My sentence that is horrible is-"if we lived in an anarchy, there would be a lot of disorder and confusion because we'd have no laws to follow."
can anyone help me with that so it's a little better?

How about this: "Living in anarchy with no laws to follow, our society would face disorder and confusion."
