According to the KMB`s website, your position calls for good command of English, computer literacy, and a master degree in finance or economics. I will be graduating from Samara State University of Economics within the next few months with a master degree in economics. Apart from this, I enroll for the Chartered Financial Analyst program, which is called now as a «gold standard» for financial professionals.

Since both are used for possession why is the sentence "I had got a hamster when I was little" wrong?
(Exercise in English coursebook, suggesting that the correct answer is "I had a hamster when I was little").

Why do items of clothing for your arms and body singular but items for you legs are plural. For example jumper/trousers, t-shirt/shorts. Can anyone think of any exceptions to this rule?
