Does anyone else wonder why so many that have obvious difficulties in spelling don't just take advantage of "Spell check"?

What do you think the reasons might be for ignoring it?

you may not agree with me but listen to this. Godzilla is a word in my spell check. it also includes other fictional characters and some words I don't thinks in the English language but anything I commonly use that I know are words {even if there not in in our language} seem to be out. like lol or manga. also shonen an shoujo.

if your going to have a spell check words on the Internet have it include words people use on the Internet. what do you think.

also. did you know ageist is a word. surprised the heck out of me.

In a paper for school, I wrote "A shareholder can be more sure that management is acting in his/her interest when there the Board of Directors is made up of people independent of the operations of the business." Microsoft Word says that it should say "surer" instead of "more sure." This does not make any sense to me, but I can not find any support of either view on the internet. Anybody out there take either side, and show supporting evidence? I appreciate it!

Okay....I'm a high school student and I know "we" can't vote yet, but we were discussing in our U.S. History class who should be elected.A boy had said that Hilary Clinton shouldn't be elected because if she's on her monthly she could be getting mood swings and be making the wrong decisions and send us to war somewhere.I thought that was preposterous!I mean something like that couldn't happen unless they were somehow bipolar or have multipersonalities of which I doubt she has.And I know that there is the cabinet and all the other advisors. So, is there some way that I can confront this boy and tell him his answer was irrelevant?
