It seems like everyone says "thank you" when they should be saying "you're welcome." Is it to remind people they haven't said "thank you" themselves?
P.S. And thank you for answering this question.

I take it that it means "yes" or "yep" or "yup" or something similar. Is it unique to a particular state or region?

so its a word that starts with an m...its an adj i think. and its in reference to something that might have a dark theme or is about death. like if someone started talking about death suddenly in a conversation someone else might say "umm, wow that was m__"

i just cant think of what that word is and i want to use it for something im writing. thanks!!

My first question is that how do you respond to someone's question of, "Como estas?" I know it's stupid, but I just can't remember. How do you say good and bad. I remember so-so is asi-asi! But that's it. My second and last question is how do you pronounce somberness? I'm not foreign or anything but sometimes a girl gets stumped! I know what it means and was thinking to use it for my essay, so it'll become more jazzed up. Thanks for everything and rock on, Yahoo! users.
