It's the same as "home boy" or "homey" it just means 'man' or 'friend'. Jeez, I didn't know people actually used Home Slice in serious conversation.

It's older hip-hop/street slang for "buddy" or "friend". Someone you are friends with or familiar with. It is a positive greeting, like "Hey buddy.".

It depends on how he said it
If you dress like a thug and he is not and he did not say it in a serious way (He could be making fun of you)
If he said it in a friendly way ( he is just saying Whats up "First answer is right")
If he said it in a way that he might like you ( I guess his way to say you are sexy) Example: "Hey, sweet thing"

People around here say home skillet and I have no idea why and I don't want to show my lack of cool by asking.
