I am really good at correcting english common errors. however, this sentence has had me stumped for some time... can you figure out the error? i was thinking about either redundance or case:

"Soon after the recess bell rang, we all ran outside."

What does the word "rederick" mean? I tried to find the meaning at Google, but there was no definition for that word.

Also, what does the phrase, "empty slogan" and "loaded answer" mean? And what is a "loaded question"?

Thanks!

It took me years to stop using "snuck" and a few other substandard words English such as this. There are probably a few that I use that I'm still not aware of, but like any habit, after time, they start to become a natural part of our speech.

That's not half as bad as "a whole nother story" What the hell is a nother? Do you mean "another whole story". Aaarrgggh!!

What are your choice pet peeves in poor grammar and usage?

This great question has aready been asked but it got so many interesting and fun responses, I needed MORE!

One of my favorites is from my Dad, "Fine as a frog's hair and twice as nasty".

The Bee's knees is a good one.

And I hate to admit it, but "dude!" is creeping into my vocabulary as an experssion of approval.

I have found sites on scientfic and historical meaning. I'm interested in sited that tell you how your name decribes you. If anyone knows any thing please help me out. I know that sites like this exist because I have been given a meaning of my own name. I did ask the person what website she got it from but to no avail. She was just surfing and came across it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How would you end this sentence? Hayrides, leaves turning colors, etc. In other words, what is your favorite autumnal occurrence? I would have to say "everything fall has to offer". I love it all.
