It took me years to stop using "snuck" and a few other substandard words English such as this. There are probably a few that I use that I'm still not aware of, but like any habit, after time, they start to become a natural part of our speech.
That's not half as bad as "a whole nother story" What the hell is a nother? Do you mean "another whole story". Aaarrgggh!!
What are your choice pet peeves in poor grammar and usage?

I hate it when people try to be hyper-correct with pronouns and use the objective case: Take Mary and I. Give it to Tom and I. And then there's the misuse of "proscribe" as in "The doctor proscribed rest." If the doctor "proscribed" it, then your doctor is forbidding you to rest. Makes me chuckle every time.
I could go on and on. It's vs. its. Forming plurals by adding apostrophe and an s. Misspelling "does" as "dose" and "lose" as "loose."
Actually, reading the questions and answers here has opened opened a whole new world of illiteracy that I was never exposed to before. It's quite scary.

Well, snuck rates right up there on my list, but the thing that probably bugs me the most is people who slur their words and say things such as , "wha bout chu" Good heavens, learn to talk properly.

Hehehe. I used to care about this stuff. My dad taught me to care. I don't so much now, finding the message more important than how they did or didn't say it.
So far, all the ones listed used to hit my buttons, except for "conversate" which I thought was cute though I never used it.
"Please give that to Melissa and I" instead of "Melissa and me" would still tickle my ear a bit.
It really doesn't matter.

Internet slang and the misspellings that go along with it. I hate, absolutely hate, when people are talking on the internet and you can hardly keep up with the stuff they're trying to tell you in broken "English".
Even on IMs I use complete sentences and try my best to spell everything out.

Conversate
I think it's the worst word ever made up lol
It sounds like it probably should be a word.. but every time I hear it I'm like 'Ahhhhhhhh, it's converse!! Converse!!!'

my hubby always says "we seen....." I hate that. I keep telling him, it's "we saw......". As a typical male, he states that a saw is something you cut down trees with. There's several others he does, "don't got none" or "gonna carry you somewhere" - meaning driving you somewhere, (I had to ask when we first got married)

I hate the word ain't. It would almost be okay, but then they say, "I ain't got nothing" and then it's double negative so i hate it.
