Fall isn't fall without warm sunny days and clear, crisp nights, gold and scarlet leaves on the trees, the sweet yet tart crunch of apples, the big orange pumpkins at the choose-your-own farmstands, a glass of sweet cider, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and a slice of apple pie, warm, cuddly sweaters, children in their Halloween costumes and the family gathered at the table smelling roast turkey and all the trimmings at Thanksgiving.
