First of all, I'm in 7th grade. I did the whold Duke TIP program. www.tip.duke.edu I took the ACT and got my scores back today. I got a 24. Is that good? What did you guys make when you took it? Thanks for the help. :)

2 put it quite simply...I'm f*cked. Sorry, but my retarded *** thought I registered to take the SAT this weekend (on March 10) and apparently I didnt register. I didnt mail in the money (I thought I did) or sign up at this collegeboard website. I dont know what to do. I just got done taking 2 math SAT classes and one English class that I spent a ton of money on. I need to take it this weekend. My mother is basically gonna murder me. I have no idea what to do. I'm under alot of stress besides the SAT and between trying to do all this school work and get the better grades among other personal issues I can't have this one cause more problems. Is there ANYWAY that ANYONE knows how I can get to take it last minute this weekend? I'm registered for 2 months later in May but I need to take it now. I also contacted my school's SAT counselor and I'm still waiting on a reply from him. But what should I do?

I am planning on going to graduate school in the fall of 2008 and need to take my GRE sometime between now and October. However, the test is being completely revamped in August and it will no longer test the old material. I had originally planned on studying this summer and taking the test in August, but it is no longer offered then and the new study guides won't come out until mid-July. Should I take the old, time-tested version, even though I won't have as much time to prepare for it as I feel I need, or should I take the new version this September?

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

This semester I got off to a wrong start at school. I am not completely screwed right now, I'm catching up and doing last minute cramming. Soon, we're gonna have our march break and I'm going to get everything re-organized and so on. The thing is, alot of my classes focus on reading and remebering things and I have difficulties doing so...Any tips to actually get things memorized without having me forget and without the additional stress?

If I apply to West Point - is it heavily base off my participation in sports? Do you have a severe disatvantage if your high school has little to no sports? Or do I just ahve to suck it up and play that sports I don't like just so it looks good of my application?

Before I took the real SAT's I practiced for about 2 summers with 2 books, one was the College Board's offical SAT Practice Book, and I started scoring around 2000. I was happy, confident, and hopeful that I would score the same on the real thing. But on Test Day, I ended up scoring 1800. I was so disappointed in myself. How come I did so bad on the real day when I scored a 2000 while practicing? How can I improve next time when I take it?
