I got a 1420 on the old SATs. My advice for you is to prep using a prep book of your choice. But equally important, is that you don't start panicking the night before. Get some sleep, make sure that you're rested and alert for the test. The new SATs are hellish long, and the more awake you are, the better. And don't forget to eat something beforehand. Need that sugar in your blood to help you think!

Good luck!

I got a 2320 on the new SATs. I never had test anxiety... but I can say that doing practice problems and tests over and over again helped a lot in terms of improving my score.

i got a 1490 old and 2190 new and the best advice is buy a prep book and practice as much as you can. if you're rich, take a prep course like the one princetonreview offers. other than that, not much you can do other than be rested for test day.
