well the key to studying well first off is not overloading your brain with the subject. Study in spurts for instince they say a person should study at least two hours for each subject but break it up into 30 min periods. study for 30 min then take a break it help you remember things better. if you try to cram for an exam chances are you won't remember half of what you just studied because your not giving your brain the chance to fully process what you just learned or studied. ask someone to quiz you on what you just went over and after you feel you have that material down study a little more this is the process I use and it hasn't failed me yet.

When i study, i usually memorize ONLY the most imporant fact, like who? what? where?why? and when?
Then, i write this information over and over and, say it out loud to myself as i write it. This way im:
-Seeing the information as i put it on paper
-Reading it as i'm seeing it
-Hearing Myself saying it
and Writng it as i say it

The more senses you involve as you study, the easier it tis to remember. Good luck! i'm sure you'll do fine
