does anyone know a Bible verse (particularly something Jesus said) that would contradict what Franklin Graham teaches? Something along the lines of showing kindness? I need Biblical references to prove him wrong.

''For the face, I grant, I might well blush to offer, but the mind I shall never be ashamed to present. ....when you shall look on my picture you will witsafe to think that as you have but the outward shadow of the body before you, so my inward mind wisheth that the body itself were oftener in your presence."

"One viewed the existence of man then as marvel, and conceded a glamour of wonder to these lice which were caused to cling to a whirling, fire-smitten, ice-locked,disease-stricken, space-lost bulb"
This quote is from "The Blue Hotel" and I dont understand it. Can anyone explain it to me?

“A lie told often enough becomes the truth,” by Vladimir Lenin. This quote means when you hear anything, a lie or something true over and over, you will believe it because that is what you have been hearing. The play The Crucible, by Arthur Miller agrees with this quote in many ways.
A literary element that agrees with this quote and the play, The Crucible, is setting. The setting of this play is in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692. The people back then did not have much information, so it was harder to prove anything. Once someone heard a story over again it was just easy to believe it without thinking long about it. Then they would tell one person and all of a sudden everyone knows about it. The people just believed about the devil in the town because that is all they knew. Many of the people came to conclusions way to fast because they were to scared, and also, did not want to be accused.
Another literary element that agrees with this quote and the play, The Crucible, is characterization. Abigail was a very sneaky person who blamed anyone because she did not care about anyone else except for herself. She made people believe things that were not true. Abigail made believe that Elizabeth’s doll was a voodoo doll and she did witch craft to hurt her. Also, she made all the girls do and say what she said. Then the girls were scared they were going to get into trouble so they just believed what she was telling them.
A lie told often enough becomes the truth,” by Vladimir Lenin agrees with the play The Crucible, by Arthur Miller in various ways. If enough people hear a lie told convincingly enough, they will come to believe it, and so they will repeat it, and thinking what they are saying is true.

Love is not all: it is not meat nor drink
Nor slumber nor a roof against the rain;
Nor yet a floating spar to men that sink
And rise and sink and rise and sink again;
Love can not fill the thickened lung with breath,
Nor clean the blood, nor set the fractured bone;
Yet many a man is making friends with death
Even as I speak, for lack of love alone.
It well may be that in a difficult hour,
Pinned down by pain and moaning for release,
Or nagged by want past resolution's power,
I might be driven to sell your love for peace,
Or trade the memory of this night for food.
It well may be. I do not think I would.
