I want to transfer to UIC at the end of the semester for Fall '08

This is my 2nd year at a community college with a gpa of currently 3.3, I'm majoring in Business, and have one W on my transcript.

I have all A's and B's with one C.

I'm struggling in my earth science class, 63% D. I want to drop the class because I have to turn in my transcript during winter break (2 weeks) and I figured a W will look better then a D or F. Plus my gpa won't be lowered. If I have two W's, will I still have a chance of getting into UIC?

I am in a really awkward situation. When I ask my math teacher a question, he gets really frustrated with me. This starts at the second question on. I try to understand the material. My math teacher says that I should have learned it before, but the fact is, it was not covered until this year. This teacher asks other students if they have questions, and he doesn't get frustrated with them. The people he addresses in class are athletic guys, girls who dress in style, or people that he has had in class before. SInce I fit none of those categories, I don't get talked to. I need this class for my diploma, and I can't switch classes because the other times when the class is taught by the other teacher are during the two class times of the day where the class applies to my future college major! What should I do? I'm feeling badly as a result of this situation. HELP!

In order to begin a professional program (Pharmacy school), do you need to have a major completed beforehand (acquired a Bachelor's degree)?



Particularly for UH Pharmacy school.

So... We are in the second quarter of my school and last quarter we did this thing for books in Uganda. I finished mine on time but we also had to do something else which involved scanning the books. I had began to scan my book but since we had already started working on new stuff I didn't want to get further behind. Now I really think I should tell her I didn't finish before she gets even more mad when she herself finds out that I didn't scan. What should I do? My teacher is moody and temperamental and she's probably not the type to listen to my entire story. Should I just tell her and deal with the consequences? I am really stressing out because I am a person who doesn't really like it when people are made at them. PLEASE HELP!

I' ve been looking at schools In GA for ultrasound/sonography and the schools I Viewed have certain prerequisites to accuire.Are there any technical schools or classes that offer these courses?I have my highschool Diploma, but my gpa is below some standards.Will that matter ?

Im a top notcher in class...but sometimes im not confident to recite bcoz there is my classmate who will tease me some jokes after class.....I love studing in school.As well when my Fav teacher comes.But sometimes even i knew the answer i dont recite/participate...plzzz giv me advice thx...God bless you! :)
