So... We are in the second quarter of my school and last quarter we did this thing for books in Uganda. I finished mine on time but we also had to do something else which involved scanning the books. I had began to scan my book but since we had already started working on new stuff I didn't want to get further behind. Now I really think I should tell her I didn't finish before she gets even more mad when she herself finds out that I didn't scan. What should I do? My teacher is moody and temperamental and she's probably not the type to listen to my entire story. Should I just tell her and deal with the consequences? I am really stressing out because I am a person who doesn't really like it when people are made at them. PLEASE HELP!

Stop thinking about the bad things that might happen.

This is your project, your work. You want to get it all done, cause you don't want to be left behind. So, who cares if you teacher is all ick?

Just go up to her and tell her. Tell her that you'll get the scanning work done (you will have to sooner or later..unless she lets you off the hook)

If she tells you that you still need to finish it, then alright. Do the scanning thing over the weekends or something. Or before/after school. You ought to have some extra free time. If your stressing about school- don't. Just use your free time wisely, and you'll be fine.

Have confidence. If your teacher sees that, she'll more likely learn to respect you. Would you respect someone who is meek and won't look you in the eye? Who doesn't come ask you for help when they truly need it?

Have self confidence, set your stance, plan your time wisely.
Do all that, and you shouldn't have a problem at school. =)
hope this helped-

In the grand scheme of life this is a really small thing...Tell your teacher the truth..the truth goes a long way ...she may chew you out, but this will give you a lesson..1 to get your projects completed on time and 2 to give you a little confidence about yourself and to not disappoint your teacher. Remember that time put in now will give you more freedom to do what you want to do later

Address this issue as soon as possible. It's better to get the truth out NOW than to wait until you're even further behind. Ask what, if anything, you can do to resolve the issue.

sounds like you are going to have to just tell her what happened and ask for an extension then bust you butt to get this done. explain it to her before she finds out. if you go in there and just be honest you may be surprised at how much she will work with you on this

Be honest with your teacher immediately, including expressing your worries about how he/she would react. The longer you wait, the more stress you will experience - and the more likely your teacher will be upset. Good luck!

if You Tell Her The Truth She Might Let You Go With a warning.

You'll have to "face the music" sometime, so you might as well get it over with and tell her. Postponing it won't change the outcome and you'll just get more stressed.
