To become a doctor you need to cross a difficult barrier initially in the form of difficult exams, work very hard, and have a specific skill set and mind set. Inspite of crossing such tough hurdles why is Indian society indifferent to the needs of doctors working in India? WHAT CAN THE GOVERNMENT AND SOCIETY DO IMMEDIATLY.

OK well my parents are offering to pay for me to go to college and get an Associates degree in anything. But I am very set on going to Las Angeles and going to the New York Film Academy for acting and screenwriting ASAP. I know there is no definite career in those fields but that is all I can see myself doing. My parents won’t pay or even co-sign for me to finance the NYFA School. They will consider financing or even paying for the whole film school if I get my Associates degree but I really don’t like school. I haven’t even graduated high school yet (this year) and I can’t imagine going two more years of traditional school. Plus I would love to show them that I can actually go to LA and make something of myself without college. Also I have been saving up money and researching on getting my credit so I can get financing. I have a well thought out plan but I just want to feel that I made a good decision. Someone have any suggestions? Please help!

Recently, I applied as a transfer to a University to major in music (my audition seemingly went well); however, I earned my GED and my current GPA is 3.41 (in the 2% acceptance range for HS students) with 29 credits/units. Unfortunately, I have gaps in my educational history because of work/finance. I attend full time school and work. I have not taken the SAT or ACT exams. Are transfer students viewed the same as High School students when applying? Will my work history be beneficial? Does my age effect an acceptance descision? Finally, I feel embarrassed by this. Should I feel that way? Thank you.

Can he take a class at a community college and transfer that credit to another community college?

Ex: My friend wants to take a class at his community college but can't becasue it starts to late, he works during those hours (7:00-10:00pm)....so can he take that course at another cc and transfer the units/credit to the college he attends?

I forgot to add on my extracurriculars list that i played varsity golf freshmen and sophmore year, and that i plan to play senior year. is there a way that i can send it to the university of california schools, or should i not, since i don't know if it would make a huge difference in the admission process.

i am a junior in HS and i'll be applying to colleges soon. my school doesn't do weighted grades so i have a 3.9 (4.0 being the highest you can score since there's no weighted grades). my act score is 25 which is above average i suppose.

my question is, i'm not in any activities at school, will that be bad for my application?
