i am a junior in HS and i'll be applying to colleges soon. my school doesn't do weighted grades so i have a 3.9 (4.0 being the highest you can score since there's no weighted grades). my act score is 25 which is above average i suppose.

my question is, i'm not in any activities at school, will that be bad for my application?

Activities won't hurt, talk to your guidance counselor to see what the school around you requires for scholarships. They keep up to date with the latest info and can help you prepare.

You should consult your student advisor/counselor, they should be able to give you alot of information about this. Your gpa is good but colleges will look at more than your gpa. Your act score is good but you can take that test over again as many times as you want and try to improve it, the higher the better. You should also get into some school activities. There are many different activities that you may not be aware of even if you are not into sports. Colleges want well-rounded students.

First, let me congratulate you on your excellent GPA! Colleges do look for activities that students are involved in, particularly leadership positions. Maybe try to join at least one club/organization at your school. Do you ever tutor other students? That looks good on an application too. But I'm sure you will still be highly sought after with your grades!

If you're not in any activities outside of school either, yes it will. Colleges look for extracurricular activities, athletics, and volunteering as well as just good grades. The activities don't have to be in school but they do have to exsist because colleges want to make sure you're a well rounded person.
